Capital Building Campaign
ST. ROMUALD INTERPAROCHIAL SCHOOL CAPITAL BUILDING CAMPAIGN
In the spring of 2008, the SRIS School Board, composed of the SRIS Principal and Pastor-Priest and representatives of the five Catholic parishes in Breckinridge County, Kentucky, completed a thorough self-study in preparation for the school’s five-year state accreditation process. The data evaluated during this self-study included a comprehensive financial analysis, evaluation of nationally standardized test and achievement data, instructional delivery and curricular organization, enrollment trends, and assessment of our current facilities.
At the conclusion of this process, unanimous consensus was reached that SRIS cannot reach its potential, nor continue to meet our current standards and expectations, nor meet our mission in the face of an ever-increasing student population seeking enrollment, with our current and existing facilities. After over fifty years without a capital building project at SRIS, and with full knowledge that our enrollment has grown by 25% over the past five years, the SRIS School Board made a commitment to an aggressive, two-year Capital Building Campaign to finance the construction of a 21st century facility for our extraordinary and growing school community.
Our goal is to raise $20 million to construct the proposed facility. We recognize that in these tough economic times, the cost of this project cannot be passed on to our families through increased tuition nor to our supporting parishes through increased subsidies. Rather, we chose to embark upon an aggressive, national campaign, seeking the generosity of individuals and foundations who can recognize and respect the commitment to excellence SRIS has historically demonstrated and enable us to continue to grow and to serve the additional students on our waiting lists at virtually every grade level.
We invite you to call us and to stop by, or visit SRIS at our website srischool.org. We expect and we know you expect accountability for your gracious donations. 100% of your donations will go to the proposed facility of our Capital Building Campaign.
This facility is essential to the growth of our program so that we can serve even more students in their pursuit of excellence. We look forward to your generous commitment. |
